Have you ever just wanted to get away, be creative and have fun with friends? This is your chance to do all three things in one place. Coming this February, Keep Me In Stitches is hosting B+B Extravaganza – The Best of Baby Lock and The Best of BERNINA.  These multi-day events are designed to teach you the best that both brands have to offer.

The Best of Baby Lock will be held February 15-17 at The Regent in Riverview, Florida – Tampa Bay’s beautiful, premier event venue. At this 3-day retreat you will learn some of the best techniques from three of the top educators in the industry:

  • – Pam Mahshie, Baby Lock’s National Ambassador of Education
  • – Evy Hawkins, Designer, Author and Owner of A Bit Of Stitch
  • – Missy Billingsley, Baby Lock Educator
The Best of Baby Lock Destiny 2, Sashiko 2, Embellisher, Triumph Under the Sea Projects for Home

A few of the techniques you will learn.

These three ladies are the best of the best and we are excited to host them for this incredible event.  You will have the opportunity use Baby Lock’s Destiny 2, Sashiko 2, Embellisher and Triumph.  They have put their heads together and designed custom, under-the-sea themed projects that showcases the best of each machine. You’ll not only learn techniques, you’ll leave with beautiful projects!

Pam, Evy, and Missy love coming to Keep Me In Stitches and we love having them!  Here’s what they have to say:

Pam Mahshie, Baby Lock National Ambassador of Education “I am so excited to be coming to Tampa in February not only for the warm weather, because you know Texas has been really cold this winter, but to see you and share some fun projects you will be proud to display in your home. You will each have a Destiny 2 to sew on and we will learn how to scan artwork to make applique, create stippling and piecing all in the hoop there is nothing easier than that, we have some other tricks up our sleeves as well be sure to sign up today so you don’t miss out on the fun. See you there February 15-17!” -Pam Mahshie

Evy Hawkins - Designer, Author, Sashiko Expert, Owner of A Bit of Stitch“Come play on two of Baby Lock’s most creative machines – the Sashiko and the Embellisher! You won’t believe how artistic you can be, yes, YOU! These machines make stitching “playtime” for grownups as they so cleverly create unique and unusual projects like the little “Under-the-Sea Gnome Home” tissue box cover we will be making. The kit is so fun to play with too with lots of specialty fabrics like silks, fancy fibers, and clever charms. Not only will you go home with a finished little tissue box gnome home, you’ll also get the directions and pattern so you can make a whole village by the sea! I hope you join us, there’s fun to be all sewn up!” -Evy Hawkins

Missy Billingley, Baby Lock Educator“We can’t wait to see you at the B&B Best of Baby Lock event with Keep Me In Stitches. In the serger classroom, we will be using fabulous Baby Lock sergers to create a super cute set of placemats and using lots of great techniques and presser feet! Piping, pintucks, wave stitching, ribbon and SEW much more going on in the serger room while they are having embroidery, Embellisher and Sashiko fun in the other classrooms. We all love coming to teach at KMIS and know you will have a great time getting to play on Baby Lock’s finest machines! If you have ever wanted to try out a Baby Lock machine to see if you would enjoy it or you simply want to get away for the weekend and stitch some pretties… this event is for you! We can’t wait to see you there!” -Missy Billingsley
