10 Year Anniversary Celebration

It was ten years ago that we, the staff at KMIS, first opened our doors to do business. Ten years later, we have two stores, supportive customers, and a successful business well known in the community as a first class sewing center and a business that gives back to its community through its philanthropic projects such as NICU Quilts, and Quilts for Kids. In addition, we are very involved with Metropolitan Ministries, our local homeless shelter, by providing sewing camps, food, and school supplies to its residents. Our success continues thanks to our wonderful customers. We look forward to serving you for many more years.

In honor of our success and our loyal customers, we invite you to join us Friday and Saturday, June 4th and 5th, respectively from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at both stores for our first double digit celebration.

The staff at Keep Me In Stitches is committed to providing educational programs to people of all ages. We believe it is very important that families plan meaningful activities for their children to participate in during the summer months.

We are offering three different one week camps for young adults ages 10-15. We are certain all students will fall in love with sewing and quilting after one of our camps. Please read about the camps, and contact one of the stores or visit www.kmisinc.com to register. Sign up quickly as space is limited.

Our teachers have worked very hard to prepare for their camps and are looking forward to teaching young people an art that has been around for ages. Please keep in mind that we make a commitment to our teachers prior to summer; therefore there are no refunds for cancellations or no shows. We appreciate your support.

We take great pride in the products and services we provide to our customers. Over the years, we have instilled in our customers that quality machines and products make sewing and quilting easier, especially for a beginner. Therefore, all students will be provided a new and appropriate sewing machine to use during class. Machines used for summer camps, will be sold at a great discount. Quantities are limited and will be sold on a first come basis.

The NICU Quilt

South Store
July 28, 2010
Three day hands-on event.
Wednesday
10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Keep Me in Stitches is proud to participate in a project making small quilted covers for the NICU, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Babies are very sensitive to light and noise. Too much of either can be very stressful, even affecting their heart rate and breathing. These small quilts are placed over the isolettes of infants to protect the babies from external stimuli. The darkness and quiet encourages deep sleep which helps the babies grow and heal.

This is a perfect opportunity to receive community service hours for all age groups.
